In Loving Memory
of
John Micheal Kohler
10/17/73 - 02/05/01

DEATH IS NOTHING AT ALL.
IT DOES NOT COUNT.
I HAVE ONLY SLIPPED AWAY, INTO THE NEXT ROOM.
NOTHING HAS HAPPENED.
EVERYTHING REMAINS EXACTLY AS IT WAS.
I AM I ,AND YOU ARE YOU, THE OLD LIFE WE LIVED SO FONDLY TOGETHER IS
UNTOUCHED, UNCHANGED.
WHATEVER WE WERE TO EACH OTHER THAT WE ARE STILL.
CALL ME BY THE OLD FAMILIAR NAME.
SPEAK OF ME THE EASY WAY WHICH WE ALWAYS USED, PUT NO DIFFERENCE INTO YOUR TONE, WEAR NO FORCED AIR OF SOLEMNITY OR SORROW.
LAUGH AS WE ALWAYS LAUGHED AT THE LITTLE JOKES THAT WE ENJOYED TOGETHER .
PLAY , SMILE, THINK OF ME PRAY FOR ME.
LET MY NAME BE EVER THE HOUSEHOLD WORD THAT IT ALWAYS WAS.
LET IT BE SPOKEN WITHOUT AN EFFORT, WITHOUT THE GHOST OF A SHADOW UPON IT.
LIFE MEANS ALL IT EVER MEANT.
IT IS THE SAME AS IT EVER WAS.
THERE IS ABSOLUTE AND CONTINUITY.
WHAT IS DEATH BUT BUT A NEGLIGIBLE ACCIDENT?
WHY SHOULD I BE OUT OF MIND BECAUSE I AM OUT OF SIGHT?
I AM BUT WAITING FOR YOU, FOR AN INTERVAL, SOMEWHERE VERY NEAR, JUST ROUND THE CORNER.
ALL IS
WELL .
ALL IS WELL.

"Safely Home"
by
C. Bonnie Butler
I
am Home in Heaven, dear ones; oh, so happy and so bright!
There is perfect joy and beauty in His everlasting light.
All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed;
I am now at peace forever, safely Home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder I so calmly trod the valley of the shade?
Oh! but Jesus' love illumined every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me in that way so hard to tread;
And with Jesus' arm to lean on, could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely, for I love you dearly still;
Try to look beyond earth's shadows, pray to trust our Father's Will.
There is work still waiting for you, so you must not idly stand;
Do it now; while life remaineth~You shall rest in Jesus' land.
When that work is all completed. He will gently call you Home;
Oh, the rapture of that meeting, oh, the joy to see you come!

In Memory
of
My Little Brother
Jared Niall Barrios
10/08/93 ~ 08/31/97

God saw he was getting tired,
and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around him,
and said, "Come with me."
With tearful eyes we watched,
and saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
we could not make him stay.
A precious heart stopped beating,
gentle hands came to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.
I pray everyday that I will never forget my little brother. I miss you
Jared. Love, Tori (age 9)

Pictures
of you
They're always still on my mind
You had the smile
That could light up the world
Now it rains
It seems that the sun never shines
And I'll drive
down
This lonely, lonely road
Ooh I got this feelin'
Girl, I gotta let you go
'Cause now
you've got to fly
Fly to the angels
Heavens awaits your heart
And flowers bloom in your name
You've got to fly
Fly to the angels
All the stars in the night
Shine in your name
You know it
hurts me
Way deep inside
When I turn and look
And find that you're not there
I try to convince myself
That the pain, the pain
Its still not gone
|
And
I'll drive down
This lonely road, lonely road
Ooh I got this feelin'
Girl, I gotta let you go
Cause now
you've got to fly
Fly to the angels
Heavens awaits your heart
And flowers bloom in your name
You've got to fly
Fly to the angels
All the stars in the night
Shine in your name
And still I'll
drive down
This lonely, lonely road
Ooh I got this feelin'
Oh, I can't let you go
But I know
you've got to fly
Fly to the angels
Heavens await your heart
And flowers bloom in you name
You've got to fly
Fly to the angels
All the stars in the night
Shine in your name
I'm gonna miss you, miss you girl

In
Memory
of
Hunter Alexander English
07/08/01 -- 10/26/01
The
leaves fall to the ground
From the mother tree
Does she not morn as I do
The loss of such beauty
Only to become one with the earth
And its spirits
I CANNOT understand this
I will NEVER forget or "get over it"
I WILL love you forever my sweet, handsome little boy
And I will see you again
Underneath the mother tree
In the beautiful Summerlands
